Our Family and Other Animals
South Powrie is a small family-run farm just north of Dundee, on the Dundee-Angus border. Our family has farmed here for four generations, and the fifth is in training!
As well as slow growing KellyBronze turkeys for Christmas, we farm crops including barley, wheat and oilseed rape, and rear pigs. We also have a deer farm for venison.

We have been rearing free range KellyBronze turkeys for Christmas on our family farm since 2011. We are one of a select handful of KellyBronze farmers around the UK, who sell KellyBronze turkeys direct from the farm. We are passionate about good food, as well as the importance of high welfare and traditional artisan rearing and processing methods.
Our turkeys are slow grown to full maturity in the outdoors, dry plucked and game hung, which all combines to give them their famously good flavour. They are very quick and easy to cook, and you can collect your turkey and other local farm fresh produce direct from our farm or one of our collection points in Angus, Fife, Kincardineshire and Edinburgh.
At Christmas-time, we have collections for our oven-ready turkeys from the farm, as well as from other collection points in Angus, Fife, Edinburgh and Kincardineshire.
