At this time of year, the turkey paddock is home to our folly, our small hobby flock of ewes, the Newsroom, and the polytunnel becomes the maternity ward. A wise shepherdess once told us that feeding the ewes at night would bring lambs in the morning, and we're delighted to find it works! We've been helping out the mums of triplets with some bottle feeding to give them all a strong start, which the children love doing (when it suits!).
